Terms of Use — OpenSpot

1. Purpose
OpenSpot is a mobile app that lets users search for nearby places and contribute to a community place database (tags, notes).
2. Account creation
An account can be created with email and password, via a Google account, or via Apple (Sign in with Apple). The user is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and for any activity carried out from their account.
3. Contribution rules
By contributing to OpenSpot (tags, notes), the user agrees to: • Provide accurate information in good faith • Not post unlawful, abusive or misleading content • Not post personal data about third parties
4. Moderation and removal of contributions
Each contribution is assigned a status (pending or confirmed) and a contribution count. MAG&Cie reserves the right to moderate, refuse or remove any contribution that does not comply with these terms.
5. License on contributions
By submitting a contribution, the user grants MAG&Cie a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce and display that contribution as part of OpenSpot's operation.
6. No warranty
Place information (hours, addresses, categories) partly comes from OpenStreetMap and Google Places. MAG&Cie does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of this information.
7. Limitation of liability
MAG&Cie cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the app or from the accuracy of the information displayed.
8. Account deletion
The user can delete their account at any time from the app's Profile screen. This deletion results in the removal of the data associated with the account.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts.
